Teacher Clarity was founded after years of seeing the same problem: teachers working incredibly hard but without the clarity they needed to maximize their impact. The demands were real. The effort was real. But something essential was missing.
Our founder discovered John Hattie's research on Visible Learning and had a moment of recognition: "teacher clarity" — the practice of being explicit about learning intentions, success criteria, and feedback — was both one of the most powerful levers in education AND one of the least understood. Schools weren't failing for lack of effort. They were failing for lack of clarity.
Teacher Clarity was built to bridge that gap. We started with a single school, a single coaching relationship, and a single conviction: that when teachers are clear, students learn more — and that clarity can be taught, practiced, and sustained with the right support.
